Yikes!Bikes!Tour
Volunteer Kick-off Meeting...
 
Monday, February 13 Hope Lutheran Church in Walker 5:15-6:15pm
A volunteer recruitment meeting will be held Yikes!Bikes! is a Saturday morning bike tour designed for families as well as serious trail riders. The event, sponsored by the Leech Lake Chapter of Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity raises funds to build houses with families in need of a decent and affordable home.

Over 60 volunteers dedicate time to make Yikes!Bikes! a successful ride each year. Information will be shared at the meeting regarding volunteer opportunities and needs. All are welcome to come and explore possible involvement.
    
Other volunteer opportunities:
Donation pick-up, de-construction, data entry, phone work, committees, events.

The ReStore has become very busy and more volunteers are needed!!!
Cashiers, stock and sales floor volunteers needed for all shifts. Pick your day: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday morning or afternoon and Saturday morning.....

Some current needs
: paint brushes; 9” smooth paint roller covers; bottled water for the work site. If you received a Crow Wing Land fill coupon and you are not going to use it, we would welcome the donation of that coupon.

FREE ON-LINE SAFETY TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERS. The volunteer course presents detailed information on a wide range of common safety risks found on and around the jobsite. Help us keep the jobsite safe for everyone! Simply go to http://www.hfhvolunteerinsurance.com. Everything you need to get started is right there. (The volunteer website does not require a password.) Certificates will be sent to LAHFH upon completion.
