The Wells Fargo team & the Wells Fargo Housing
Foundation have partnered with Lakes Area
Habitat for Humanity; contributing 60 volunteer
hours & donating $15,000!
Here’s what one Wells Fargo Team Member had to
say: The overall experience of our on-site
build day was inspiring. The collaboration of
the experienced carpenter of Barratto Brother,
with my fellow co-workers, who had never swung a
hammer, all working together with the single
goal of helping a family in need was beyond
humbling. We were not only building a home, we
built lasting partnerships and an even stronger
Wells Fargo team. We are already looking
forward to the next build.

| A collaborative
project was just completed with Lakes
Area Habitat for Humanity, thanks in
part to funding received through the
Initiative Foundation, a regional
foundation. One of the goals of the
project was to install two solar heating
systems on the homes of area Habitat
participants. One system
has been up and running for a year,
while the other has just been completed.
These systems, along with good
insulation and other energy efficiency
measures, will help the new residents
keep winter heating costs down to an
affordable level. |
