Thrivent Financial and Lakes
Area Habitat for Humanity are again joining
forces to build more homes for families in need.
Locally, Lakes Area Habitat for Humanity has
been awarded $115,000, or 65 percent of the
funds necessary, to build two homes in 2010. The
remainder of the funds will be raised by LAHFH
and area Lutheran Congregations.
Your help is needed. You can share your time and
talents in a number of ways: Prayer, greeting
volunteers at the site, fundraising events,
recruiting, food preparation, volunteering at
the construction site. Youth can also be
involved in many ways. For more information,
