We have concrete in Park Rapids! The concrete crew and excavator will be on-site Monday to remove the forms and set the perimeter foam and do what can be to get a modicum of final grade. Sill layouts will be on Friday, December 1st and first day of framing is set for Tuesday, December 5th.
After unexpectedly losing our concrete crew on Monday for the Bower project in Park Rapids, we scrambled to find a short-notice replacement crew. Thanks to Dwight Carlson, excavator for the site, we were able to connect with Ron Husby Concrete of Park Rapids. The crew dug the footings and set the forms in place. We have the plumbers scheduled to arrive on Monday. Tuesday will bring the radon rock, foam and in-floor heat tubing. And on Wednesday, the concrete will be poured. According to the weather forecast, temps will be in the 40s next week giving us the perfect window of opportunity to get this site ready for building.
