2018 Outstanding Leadership and Excellence (OLE) Conference Hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota

This is open to any/all HFH staff and volunteers to participate in.

Monday, March 12th

Evening: Light Dinner, followed by group activity/networking time

Tuesday, March 13th
8:00AM Competent Person Training Day 1 begins

Sessions and Presenters


Fund Development: 5 Sessions
Kristen Sand and Peter Dalton of Habitat International, along with Kate Loe of Twin Cities Habitat, will present sessions focused on fund development. Advocacy: 3 Sessions
These will include local advocacy, statewide advocacy, and a session on making the case for permanent affordability. Presenters include Pam Johnson of Twin Cities Habitat and Christopher Ptomey of Habitat International. 

ReStore: 3-4 Sessions
ReStores sessions will all be led by Mande Butler of Habitat International. 

Habitat Minnesota sessions: 4 Sessions
These include a financial document refresh, mortgage origination and documentation from Sunrise Banks, and a session on low-cost communications from Brian Juntti of Twin Cities Habitat and Alicia Chapman of Central Minnesota Habitat.


Competent Person Training
March 13 and 148 AM - 5 PM

Competent Person Training will be provided by Scott Craven of Habitat International.Training will be held at Cabela's in Owatonna. 

Those wishing to attend will pay the same $200 registration fee as regular attendees. Those planning to attend should note the difference in hours for CP training (full days Tuesday and Wednesday). We hope that CP trainees will join in with regular conference activities on Monday, March 12th!
