 During 2007, LAHFH will
provide new homes for 10 families. This goal is
a significant increase which will strain all of
our resources. To be successful, we will require
more building sites, cash, tools, equipment and
construction materials.

Need - Land
Prior to building, we must have a place to
build. To meet our objective for 2008 and beyond
we must obtain the following building sites: |

- Crosby/Ironton - 2 sites
- Brainerd - 6 sites
- Breezy Point - 3 sites
- Park Rapids - 1 site
- Pine River - 2 sites
- Akeley - 1 site
- Nevis - 1 site
- Walker - 2 sites
- Hackensack 2 sites

Financial
Resources
The need for financial
assistance is great. LAHFH house construction
costs are currently approximately $75,000. Thus
$600,000 is required if we are to provide 8
homes in 2008. This $600,000 provides
construction costs; additional funds are needed
to cover necessary overhead. |

Gifts of Stock.
Equities that have appreciated can be donated to
LAHFH at their current value. The donor can
deduct current value and avoid capital gains
taxes on the appreciation.
Include LAHFH in your Will or Bequest.
Cash Gifts are necessary and appreciated. |
